Semantic Content Writer

About the Role:

We are seeking a Semantic Content Writer with a strong expertise in Local SEO and service-based website content. The ideal candidate should understand keyword intent, topical authority, and the principles of structured content writing that ranks on Google for local business websites.

You will work on writing optimized landing pages, service pages, and blog content that help boost map rankings and local visibility for our clients across multiple industries (home services, medical, real estate, legal, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

Write SEO-optimized and semantically rich content for service-based websites.

Develop content with topical depth and an internal linking strategy.

Create local landing page content for city/service combinations.

Research and use keywords, entities, and search intent effectively.

Collaborate with SEO and design teams to maintain on-page relevance.

Optimize existing content for LLMO, GEO, and VEO SEO standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience in Local SEO content writing.

Understanding of semantic SEO, topical authority, and NLP optimization.

Knowledge of Google’s Helpful Content guidelines.

Ability to write clean, conversion-focused, and natural copy.

Familiarity with tools like SurferSEO, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Frase.

Excellent grammar and research skills.

Bonus Skills (Optional but Preferred):

Experience in Google Business Profile optimization content.

Understanding of schema markup & content structure for SEO.

Prior experience writing for home service businesses (plumbing, HVAC, remodeling, roofing, etc.).
