Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and analytical SEO Specialist. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that increase our organic visibility not just on traditional search engines, but also on emerging AI platforms. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about the evolving world of search, from Google's AI Overviews to answer engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity, and knows how to drive qualified traffic in this new environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Modern Search Strategy: Develop and implement SEO strategies that account for Google's AI Overviews (GEO) and the rise of answer engines (AEO) like ChatGPT and Perplexity .
• Technical SEO: Perform regular technical site audits to improve Core Web Vitals, mobile-friendliness, and site architecture to enhance user experience and meet search engine ranking criteria .
• Content & AEO Optimization: Conduct advanced keyword and topic research to identify opportunities. Create and optimize content not just for keywords, but for user intent and to be featured in AI-generated answers . This includes structuring content in a Q&A format and providing concise, authoritative summaries .
• E-E-A-T Focus: Ensure all content demonstrates Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness. Incorporate first-hand experience and credible sources to build topical authority, which is critical for ranking in the age of AI .
• Community & User-Generated Content (UGC): Leverage the power of online communities like Reddit and Quora. Develop strategies to engage with relevant forums and optimize UGC to capture traffic from these high-authority sources .
• Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on organic performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console, with a focus on trends, insights, and ROI .

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist with a track record of improving organic rankings and traffic.
• Practical understanding of modern SEO concepts, including AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) .
• Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and analytics platforms .
• Strong knowledge of technical SEO principles (site speed, mobile-first indexing, structured data) .
• Ability to create content strategies that align with E-E-A-T and user intent .
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with optimizing for zero-click searches and appearing in featured snippets or AI Overviews .
• Familiarity with basic front-end languages (HTML, CSS) is a plus .
• Certification in digital marketing or a related field is advantageous
