About the Role

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Senior 2D Designer to join our growing wedding and events team. This role is ideal for a designer with strong aesthetic sensibilities, excellent brand awareness, and proven experience creating visually compelling designs for luxury weddings, social events, and corporate celebrations. You will lead conceptual development, create innovative 2D design assets, and collaborate closely with event planners, production teams, florists, and clients to bring event visions to life.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Concept & Design

· Develop design concepts, mood boards, color palettes, and visual themes aligned with event objectives and brand style.

· Produce high-quality 2D assets, including:

. Event branding (logos, monograms, patterns)

. Invitation suites and stationery

. Signage, backdrops, and stage graphics

. Seating charts, menus, and program materials

. Large-format prints and décor elements

· Ensure design consistency across all event touchpoints.

Collaboration & Project Management

· Work closely with event planners and clients to understand creative requirements, timelines, and brand expectations.

· Lead design presentations and communicate ideas effectively.

· Supervise junior designers and provide creative guidance and feedback.

· Coordinate with printing vendors, fabrication teams, and production partners to ensure design accuracy and quality execution.

· Oversee pre-production checks and final artwork approvals.

Technical & Production

· Prepare print-ready files, templates, and specifications for various materials and formats.

· Conduct quality control on printed samples, color accuracy, and material selections.

· Stay updated on printing techniques, materials, technologies, and trends in the wedding/event industry.

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.

· 4–7 years of professional design experience, preferably within event, wedding, or luxury design sectors.

· Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; After Effects is a plus).

· Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and brand design.

· Experience designing for large-scale prints, signage, and bespoke event décor.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
