Overview:

As the Senior Academy Analyst at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will be responsible for delivering data-driven insights and video analysis that support player and coach development. Your work will help evaluate the implementation of the club’s Game and Training Models, ensuring high standards across individual and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Model

• Understand and apply the Training Model across all age groups
• Identify and monitor individual and collective key performance indicators
• Attend all team training sessions and assist coaching staff as needed
• Collect and manage audiovisual training data

Game Model

• Understand the Game Model used across the academy
• Provide match-related insights and video data to inform game planning
• Collect match footage and support player evaluations through analysis

Academy Education Model & General Operation

• Design systems to track player engagement with analysis tools
• Promote unified analysis terminology among staff
• Help establish systems and workflows for consistent match/training evaluation
• Utilize video and data to build a comprehensive performance library
• Consolidate player improvement data for individual development planning
• Consolidate team performance data for collective analysis
• Provide visual analysis resources to other departments (e.g. Methodology, Physical Performance)
• Uphold internal regulations and contribute to academy operations and events
• Participate in ongoing improvements for players, staff, and academy culture
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the line manager or Academy Technical Director

Qualifications:

Essential:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Performance Analysis or a related field

Desirable:

• Master’s Degree in Analysis or related discipline
• UEFA B License or equivalent
• FIFA Guardian safeguarding qualification

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Essential:

• Experience working in collaborative, team-based environments
• Comfortable managing multicultural, multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong background in football-related data and performance analysis
• Familiar with sports performance data sources and tracking technologies
• High attention to detail and structured problem-solving approach
• Able to translate technical insights into actionable feedback for players and coaches
• Open to learning and adapting to new professional and cultural environments

Desirable:

• Understanding of player development stages across youth football
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex datasets effectively
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East
• Multilingual skills (especially English, Spanish, Arabic)
