Senior Account Executive

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the finance team in strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, expertise in ODOO ERP software, and the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Accounting & Reporting:

o Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with statutory requirements.
o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
o Manage general ledger reconciliations and journal entries.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:
o Oversee invoicing, billing, collections, and vendor payments.
o Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable.
o Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with stakeholders.

Budgeting & Forecasting:
o Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
o Provide variance analysis and highlight key financial insights.
o Support management in financial planning and cost control.

• Taxation & Compliance:

o Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (GST, TDS, income tax, etc.).
o Prepare and file statutory returns within deadlines.
o Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities.

• System & Process Management:

o Strengthen financial controls, processes, and accounting policies.
o Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and transparency.
o Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency.
o Work extensively with ODOO ERP software for accounting, reporting, and automation.
o Identify process inefficiencies, discrepancies, or errors and recommend solutions.
o Ensure system accuracy and support process improvements.

• Analytical & Problem-Solving:

o Perform in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
o Identify trends, risks, and irregularities in financial data.
o Troubleshoot issues, find root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications & Skills

= • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (Master’s preferred).

• Professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with ODOO ERP software (mandatory).
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage a small team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
