Senior Account Manager - Real Estate

Job Summary

The Senior Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing the complete accounting function of real estate projects, ensuring statutory compliance, accurate financial reporting, and effective team management. The role requires strong expertise in accounting, taxation, and regulatory compliance specific to the real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, and month-end closures.
• Manage complete project accounting for real estate developments.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other applicable laws.
• Handle GST returns, reconciliations, and coordination with consultants/auditors.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and cost control for projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and manage audit closures.
• Supervise and mentor the accounts team, assign work, and review deliverables.
• Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and statutory authorities as required.
• Ensure timely vendor payments and customer receivable management.
• Support management with financial analysis and decision-making inputs.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and real estate accounting practices.
• Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
• Strong leadership and team-handling capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• CMA / M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the real estate industry.
• Proven experience in managing and leading an accounts team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
