Senior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in a leading company in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, preparing accurate reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic support to management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and financial regulations.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Support management with financial analysis and cost control.
• Supervise junior accounting staff when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a service or hospitality-related industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and Kuwaiti financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or ERP systems).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
