Senior Accountant

We are seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to oversee the financial and administrative operations of our company in KSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing month-end closings, and ensuring full compliance with company policies and local financial regulations. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong experience in financial reporting, cost allocation, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, trial balances, and monthly/annual closing reports.
• Monitor and allocate expenses across cost centres and ensure accurate reporting.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable processes, including invoice verification and reconciliation.
• Oversee payroll processing in accordance with Saudi Wage Protection System (WPS) requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Zakat, VAT, and other local tax and regulatory obligations.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as required.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records in the company's ERP and accounting systems.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies related to payments or billing.
• Uphold confidentiality of all financial data and employee information.
• Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts in coordination with management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction or contracting industry
• Proficient in ERP systems, accounting software, MS Excel, and MS Word
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, tax regulations, and business management principles
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Candidates must hold a CPA or CMA certification to be considered for the role.
