Job Summary:
Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial health of the company, overseeing financial planning and analysis, implementing ERP, structuring, and optimizing revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Accounting and Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Revenue Management:
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to enhance profitability and occupancy rates.
- Conduct regular market research to inform and adjust rental rates effectively.
- Ensure optimal pricing and inventory allocation for holiday homes to maximize revenue.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of booking channels .
- Employ dynamic pricing models to adapt to fluctuations in demand and competition.
- Generate regular financial reports to track revenue performance and pinpoint growth opportunities.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity to meet the company's operational needs.
- Develop strategies to optimize cash flow, including working capital management and cash forecasting.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Implement cost control measures to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
Taxation and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and filing requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Financial Strategy and Advisory:
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the senior management team.
- Support business development initiatives and evaluate financial implications of new projects.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance management, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems(TALLY & EXCEL)
- Strong knowledge of local financial regulations.
