F&B Procurement and Cost Controller

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced F&B Purchase & Procurement and Cost Controller to oversee purchasing activities and control costs across our food and beverage operations. This dual-role position is critical in maintaining profitability through efficient procurement practices and accurate cost control. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of F&B supply chains, and hands-on experience in inventory and cost management within the hospitality or restaurant industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Purchasing

• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality products at the best possible prices.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of food, beverages, and related materials.
• Maintain and update approved supplier lists and product catalogs.
• Process purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards in all purchases.

Cost Control

• Analyze and control food and beverage costs to ensure budget compliance.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain up-to-date cost sheets and recipe costing for all F&B items.
• Monitor wastage, portion control, and operational efficiencies to reduce costs.
• Collaborate with culinary and service teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare detailed cost reports for management and assist in budgeting and forecasting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in F&B purchasing and/or cost control, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and cost analysis.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Familiarity with food safety, hygiene standards, and industry best practices.
