Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with a solid track record in the construction, contracting, or fit-out industry to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations across multiple verticals—handling cost control, payroll, budget planning, compliance, and project-related accounting with precision and strategic insight.

This is a key finance position that supports our on-ground projects in Riyadh and ensures financial integrity across cross-functional project lifecycles in construction sites, production warehouses, and event venues .

Key Responsibilities

Core Accounting & Finance

• Manage day-to-day financial activities including preparation and posting of accounting vouchers, bank reconciliations, supplier payments, customer billing, receivables & payables.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, P&L statements, and balance sheets in accordance with IFRS and audit standards.
• Maintain internal control systems and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and external audits.
• Process payroll and ensure alignment with employee benefits and timekeeping across multiple departments.

Project & Cost Accounting

• Monitor and control budgets related to on-site activities across construction, fit-out, and event projects.
• Analyze project profitability, variance reports, and job costing with focus on labor, material usage, and procurement efficiency.
• Support project managers with financial tracking of site operations, production cost breakdown, and budget forecasting.
• Implement accurate costing systems to measure operational efficiency and improve margin performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with procurement, operations, HR, and admin teams to align financial planning with project timelines.
• Assist in evaluating supplier contracts, logistics expenses, and resource allocation for cost optimization.
• Provide proactive financial insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.

Audit & Compliance

• Prepare for and liaise with internal/external auditors ensuring smooth audit execution and documentation control.
• Ensure all records meet ISO protocols and KSA-specific regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA are highly preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounting within the construction, contracting, or fit-out sectors , preferably in KSA.
• Proven expertise in cost accounting, payroll processing, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of VAT, Zakat, and other local financial regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel , with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is an added advantage).
• Must be detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
