Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts.
• Oversee project costing, budgeting, and financial control for construction, fit-out, and FM projects.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor cost allocations, project profitability, and provide financial insights to management.
• Coordinate with project managers and procurement teams to ensure proper cost tracking.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure accurate and timely financial entries.
• Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
• Implement internal controls and process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA preferred).
• Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in construction/fit-out/FM industry.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, IFRS, and UAE tax regulations.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
