The Senior Accountant position in the construction and building industry is a pivotal role that requires a blend of technical accounting expertise and industry-specific knowledge. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with local regulations.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance.
- Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for strategic planning.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry standards.
- Previous Experience in General Contracting Company.
