- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- General Ledger & Reconciliation: Manage the general ledger by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling accounts payable and receivable. Perform regular bank and inter-company reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Compliance & Audits: Ensure full compliance with UAE tax regulations, including VAT (Value Added Tax) and corporate tax laws. Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and providing support to auditors.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Participate in the annual budgeting process and provide financial forecasts. Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide variance analysis to management.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to accounting systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
- Supervision & Mentorship: Oversee the work of junior accountants or bookkeepers, providing guidance and training to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
