Senior Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in managing full accounting operations, strong knowledge of Excel, experience using ZOHO Books, and good understanding of online banking transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations, journal entries, and financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Perform and monitor online bank transactions, payments, and transfers.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
• Maintain accurate general ledger and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.
• Prepare VAT filings and ensure compliance with Kuwait accounting and tax regulations.
• Generate reports and financial statements through ZOHO accounting software.
• Use Excel for financial data analysis, reporting, and record maintenance.
• Assist management in financial planning and decision-making.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documents.
• Ensure accounting accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of accounting tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience (preferably in the GCC).
• Hands-on experience using ZOHO Book.
• Excellent Excel skills for financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of online banking systems and transactions.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• English fluency required; Arabic is an advantage.
• Candidate must be locally available in Kuwait.
