Senior Accountant

As a Professional Senior Accountant with minimum 5 years of previous working experience, you will be responsible for managing key financial activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting operational decision-making through accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor and report on production costs, inventory valuation, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Partner with operations to analyze manufacturing variances and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, providing insights based on manufacturing performance.
• Support audits and tax filings with thorough documentation and reporting.
• Implement and improve internal financial controls and processes related to production and inventory.

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce)
• Focus: Financial accounting, taxation, business law, and auditing.
• BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) – Finance/Accounting Specialization
• Tally ERP / Tally Prime Certification – Often mandatory for entry/mid-level roles in SMEs and manufacturing firms.
• Advanced Excel / Financial Modeling Courses – Increasingly expected for analytical roles.
