Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our pre-opening team in Riyadh. This role will oversee all accounting operations, ensure financial compliance, and support management with accurate financial insights as we prepare for launch and scale operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare or clinic accounting, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage both pre-opening setup and ongoing financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and preparation of financial statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for management and investors.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi accounting standards (SOCPA) and other regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit processes.
• Implement internal financial controls and accounting systems.
• Manage vendor payments, cost tracking, and capital expenditure reporting for the clinic build and launch phase.
• Record all transactions and financial data in accordance with Saudi regulations and accounting standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional certification (SOCPA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA) strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in healthcare, clinic, or hospital environments.
• Solid understanding of Saudi accounting, VAT, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required
