About the Role

Chai Shots is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage core accounting operations, statutory compliance, and monthly financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in bookkeeping, GST/TDS, reconciliations, and audit support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting including sales, purchase, expense booking, journal entries, asset accounting, and ledger maintenance.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, credit terms, ageing analysis, and vendor reconciliations.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations and ensure all ledgers are accurate and updated.
• Ensure timely month-end closing, preparation of trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Prepare and publish monthly reports including MIS dashboards, cost reports, inventory reports, variance analysis, fund flow statements, and management review summaries.
• File GST returns, TDS returns, advance tax workings, and support other statutory filings as required.
• Maintain detailed documentation required for statutory audit, internal audit, tax audit, and compliance reviews.
• Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and banks for queries, documentation, and financial data.
• Monitor inventory movements, perform stock reconciliations, coordinate with warehouse teams, and support costing evaluations.
• Review internal financial controls, identify gaps in processes, and help implement corrective measures.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning by preparing data, workings, and periodic financial comparisons.
• Track receivables, follow up with customers for payments, and prepare ageing analysis reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and organizational policies.
• Work closely with finance leadership to maintain financial discipline, accuracy, and timely reporting.

Requirements

• Semi-Qualified CA with strong accounting expertise.
• 3–7 years of experience in core accounting and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP/Zoho Books and MS Excel.
• Ability to work independently with accuracy and ownership.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
