Position Overview

We are seeking a competent and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate must possess solid experience in manufacturing accounting, strong analytical skills, and proven expertise in Tally (Prime/ERP). The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting management with timely financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the complete accounting cycle, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per applicable accounting standards.

Handle cost accounting functions, including BOM, WIP, production costing, and variance analysis.

Maintain accurate records of inventory, oversee stock reconciliations, and support periodic physical stock audits.

Ensure compliance with VAT requirements, including preparation and filing of VAT returns.

Prepare MIS reports, financial analysis, and management dashboards.

Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide all required documentation.

Record purchase, sales, journal vouchers, and intercompany transactions with accuracy and timeliness.

Maintain accounting data integrity and workflow management within Tally ERP/Prime.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

4–5 years of accounting experience in the manufacturing industry (mandatory).

Minimum 3 years of hands-on working experience in Tally Prime / Tally ERP (mandatory).

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, costing principles, and inventory accounting.

Excellent command of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, MIS reporting).

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
