Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in accounting and a solid understanding of financial processes. This role will involve day-to-day financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and performing reconciliations. Experience with Xero or QuickBooks Online is essential. The candidate must have strong communication skills, be comfortable with late sittings during month-end/quarter-end/year-end closures, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and assist with management reporting.
• Day-to-Day Transactions: Handle vendor bill entries, bank and intercompany reconciliations, and customer transactions.
• Reconciliation: Manage and reconcile accounts including online sales portals e.g. shopify and amazon ensuring accuracy in financial records.
• Month-End Closures: Assist in closing procedures, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded, especially during peak periods.
• Accounting Standards: Apply relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) to ensure compliance.
• Software Management: Utilize Xero or QuickBooks Online to process financial data and transactions.

Key Requirements:

• Experience & Education:
• • Minimum of 3 years in a finance or accounting role.
  • Preferably part-qualified ACCA, CA, or ACMA or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Technical Skills:
• • Proficient in Xero or QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong Excel skills (advanced functions).
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Personal Attributes:
• • Strong verbal and written English communication.
  • Comfortable working late during financial closings.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and handle financial queries.
