Senior Accountant

Key Roles & Responsibilities - Accounting & Financial Management

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts as per applicable accounting standards.
• Finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
• Preparation and review of Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, and Balance Sheet.
• Ensure proper accounting of revenue, expenses, accruals, and provisions.

Statutory Compliance

• Handle GST compliance including return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation).
• TDS compliance: calculation, deduction, payment, and filing of returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.).
• Coordination for Income Tax returns and assessments.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act and other statutory requirements.

Audit & Reporting

• Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors.
• Prepare schedules, explanations, and documents for audits.
• Address audit queries and ensure timely closure.
• Support management with MIS reports and financial analysis.

Banking & Cash Management

• Bank reconciliation statements (BRS) on a periodic basis.
• Monitor cash flow and fund requirements.
• Liaison with banks for routine banking operations and documentation.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Supervise vendor payments and ensure timely processing.
• Review customer receivables and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Ensure proper reconciliation of vendor and customer accounts.

Payroll & Employee Accounting

• Handle employee reimbursements, advances, and settlements.
• Oversee compliance related to PF, ESIC, and professional tax.

Team Supervision & Process Improvement

• Guide and review work of Junior Accountants.
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Assist in implementation of ERP/accounting software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
