Senior Accountant

Professional Summary
Senior Accountant with minimum 10 years of experience in banking relations, bank reconciliations, general accounting, and financial analysis. Proficient in developing financial models and conducting in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making. Bilingual in Arabic and English is preferred, with a strong ability to collaborate across departments and communicate effectively with management.

Main duties

• Manage independently bank relations and facilitate communication with financial institutions/banks to ensure effective handling of banking requirements and transactions.
• Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records, resolving discrepancies efficiently.
• Oversee all banking accounting functions, including journal entries booking for month-end / year end closing processes.
• Opening / closing bank accounts process, folloiwng up with banks requirements and inquires.
• Coordinating and Following up with LCs and LGs issuance.
• Review and book all bank charges and interest in regular basis.
• Coordinate and follow up with corporate credit cards issuance and cancelations, review and pass relevant accounting transaction into the company accounting software.
• Perform comprehensive financial analysis and develop financial models to assist in cash flows projections and forecasting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations, improving operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions using Accounting Software, streamlining reporting processes and improving data accuracy.
• Any other duties that might be assigned by the line manager.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Accounting/Finance

Certifications

• CPA, CMA, ACCA , is added value.

Skills

• Financial Analysis & Reporting with strong General Accounting background.
• Proficient in Accounting Software, e.g., Great plans.
• Strong communication and follow up skills

Pay: From AED8,000.00 per month
