Senior Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Tally Prime / ERP, GST, TDS, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities in Tally Prime.
• Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, bills, and supporting documents.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and vendor/customer account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate records of receipts, payments, and petty cash.
• Generate and review GST reports, ensuring timely support in tax filings and compliance.
• Perform data analysis and reporting using Advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, IF statements, etc.).
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and external stakeholders for statutory compliance.
• Have experience TDS compliances.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Provide general support to the finance and accounts team in day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or related degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience (experience in retail/manufacturing preferred).
• Strong hands-on expertise in Tally ERP.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, IF statements).
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
