Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and financial compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting management with accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete books of accounts including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and finalization of accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle GST compliance: returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation), audits, and assessments
• Manage TDS compliance: deductions, returns, Form 16/16A, and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Monitor accounts receivable/payable and ensure timely collections and payments
• Prepare MIS reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Handle bank reconciliations, cash flow statements, and fund management
• Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure accuracy in day-to-day accounting
• Support management with financial insights and cost control measures

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, ERP, or similar systems)
• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial models)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Preparing E-way bills, DC, Ticket booking and Travel arrangements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) – Mandatory
• M.Com / CA (Inter) / CMA (Inter) – Preferred
• Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience

Industry Preference

Manufacturing / Trading / Services / Infrastructure / Startups (as applicable)
