Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing accounting, exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and a strong ability to develop and maintain financial models. You will play a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform variance analysis, budget vs. actual comparisons, and provide insights to management.

Financial Modeling in Excel:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
• Use advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query, Macros, etc.) to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and reconciliation.
• Identify opportunities to automate accounting processes and improve efficiency using Excel and other tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices

Ad-hoc Projects:

• Support strategic initiatives, such as profitability analysis, capital expenditure evaluations, and system implementations.

Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have:

• Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (Partially ACCA / ICMA/ or M.com qualified).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or cost accounting environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, data analysis, automation).
