Senior Accountant

Role : Sr. Accountant – Preferred from the FMCG Field

Billing & Invoicing Management

• Ensure accurate and timely billing to distributors, modern trade, and key accounts.
• Validate pricing, schemes, discounts, and tax applicability before invoice generation.
• Ensure compliance with GST and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales and Logistics to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Co-ordinate with Factory / Super stockist for closing stock & to check goods near to expiry goods
• Process credit notes for schemes, returns, damages, rate differences, and claims
• Knowledge of Ecom Business will be additional advantage

Scheme & discount tracking

Channel wise performance – Ecom / FMCG – P & L

MIS / Analysis with available Data

. Statutory compliance – TDS / GST – Monthly / Quaterly /Yearly Return filing.

Skills & Competencies Required

• Strong accounting knowledge (Revenue, AR, GST)
• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot, MIS dashboards)
• ERP knowledge (SAP / Tally / Oracle / Navision preferred)
• High attention to detail
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Ability to handle pressure during month-end closures

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: M.Com / CA-Inter / CMA-Inter
• Experience: 4–8 years in FMCG / Retail / Distribution environment
• Experience handling high-volume billing is a must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
