Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our client's real estate operations in Ajman on a contract basis. The role will focus on managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting compliance with local regulations.

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Work Days: Monday to Saturday
Employment Type: Contract (9 months) with possible extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and current financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger entries.
• Record daily financial transactions and conduct periodic bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with month-end and period-end closing processes.
• Manage invoicing, receipts, and payment follow-ups with both clients and vendors.
• Support VAT compliance by assisting with documentation and return filings in accordance with UAE tax regulations.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing required financial data and reports.
• Ensure systematic documentation and proper filing of all accounting records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify, analyze, and resolve accounting variances and discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in an accounting/auditing/consulting firm preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations.
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Odoo, QuickBooks, Zoho, etc.).
• Valid UAE visa (own visa) preferred
• Immediate availability must.
