Job Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing the organization’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and effective financial controls. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in hospital or service-sector accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory requirements
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare budgets, cash flow statements, and financial forecasts
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
- Supervise and guide junior accounting staff
- Prepare MIS reports and provide financial insights to management
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and hospital policies
Required Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com (CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred)
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience in hospital / healthcare / service industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and statutory compliance

- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
