Senior Accountant

Job Description

Collect, verify, and organize all necessary documentation related to accounting, tax filings, and file submissions.
Coordinate and organize meetings with partners, including preparing minutes of meetings.
Provide monthly accounting services, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and advisory support as required.
Manage day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth company operations.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Financial Management

  • Maintain bookkeeping records using accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime).
  • Prepare financial statements, including:
  • Profit & Loss Statement
  • Balance Sheet
  • Perform monthly bank and cash account reconciliations.
  • Generate, manage, and track invoices.
  • Assist auditors with tax return preparation, including GST returns (if applicable), income tax filings, and other statutory compliances.
  • Provide continuous monthly accounting support and regular financial updates.

2. Administrative Tasks

  • Attend customer calls and respond to frequently asked questions related to Hajj and Umrah.
  • Explain package details to prospective clients visiting the office or at external meetings.
  • Scan passports, prepare Excel sheets, and upload required details to the ministry’s website.
  • Organize and maintain scanned documents and physical records.
  • Prepare and provide necessary documentation, including bank statements, expense invoices, IBAN details, and approvals.
  • Assist with file submissions and respond to queries raised by regulatory authorities.

4. Partner Coordination

  • Schedule and manage meetings with company partners and prepare meeting minutes.
  • Assist with partner queries and provide timely updates on financial and operational matters.

5. Audit & Compliance

  • Coordinate regularly with the company’s Chartered Accountant to ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Proven experience in accounting and administration.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally Prime) and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Video editing and Photoshop skills are preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Hajj and Umrah operations is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
