Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage hospital finance operations, statutory compliance, CM Fund accounting, bank reconciliation, daily cash and online transaction recording, pharma and hospital inventory accounting, and internal audits. The role also includes handling patient billing and insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage accounts payable and receivable for hospital vendors, consultants, and service providers.

· Prepare and reconcile patient billing, insurance claims, and vendor accounts.

· Coordinate procurement accounting for medical supplies, equipment, and services.

· Maintain accurate ledgers, journals, and ERP-based financial records (SAP/Tally).

· Record daily cash collections and online transactions in Tally and ensure numbers match with physical cash and bank records.

· Maintain Chief Minister’s Fund (CM Fund) donation records and ensure proper allocation for patient treatments.

· Prepare utilization reports and submit to authorities as per compliance norms.

· Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for all hospital accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.

· Maintain inventory records for pharmacy and hospital consumables in ERP, track stock movements, and reconcile with physical stock.

· Ensure accurate valuation of inventory and timely reconciliation with physical stock.

· Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and healthcare-related statutory requirements.

· Prepare and file GST returns, TDS certificates, and other regulatory documents.

· Assist in internal and external audits, prepare audit schedules, and respond to auditor queries promptly.

· Implement internal control measures to prevent discrepancies and fraud.

· Generate daily cash reports, monthly MIS reports, financial statements, and aging reports.

· Liaise with hospital departments, vendors, auditors, and government authorities for smooth financial operations.

· Ensure all payments are processed on time and accurately recorded in systems (Tally) with proper documentation

Required Skills & Competencies

· Strong knowledge of hospital accounting processes, CM Fund handling, bank reconciliation, pharma and hospital inventory management, and statutory compliance.

· Proficiency in systems (Tally) and MS Office tools.

· Excellent communication and documentation skills.

· Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications _ Work Experience

· Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Finance (Master’s preferred).

· 07+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 3–5 years in healthcare or similar industry.

· Certifications in Taxation & Advanced Accounting are an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹360,000.00 per year
