Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Stafford, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, experience supporting key accounting processes, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly financial statement analysis, including:
- Horizontal & vertical analysis
- Financial ratios
- KPI reporting and performance tracking
- Lead and support AP automation initiatives, including coordination with bank and third‑party technology partners.
- Conduct Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) analysis and assist with variance reporting to support production and operational teams.
- Provide leadership and development for Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable teams, including workload oversight and mentoring.
- Support internal controls, audit readiness, and adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements.
- Assist with financial consolidation activities during month-end close and reporting cycles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or multi-entity environment.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
- Experience with AP/AR processes and automation tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $97,084.77 per year
