Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in the Food & Beverage industry and hands-on experience with different accounting softwares. The ideal candidate must be able to join immediately and is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with all local regulatory requirements in the UAE. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and regulations, and handle all VAT-related reporting and filings.
• Review and reconcile all bank accounts and balance sheet items.
• Perform inventory reconciliations and assist with cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis, ensuring accurate reporting of margins.
• Provide analysis of financial performance, focusing on cost control, revenue generation, and profitability for F&B operations.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and tax filing requirements.
• Support senior management with strategic decision-making through financial analysis and insights.
• Monitor cash flow and manage working capital efficiently.
• Collaborate with other departments (such as operations and supply chain) to ensure seamless accounting processes in the F&B business environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Accountant, preferably within the Food & Beverage industry.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE financial regulations, including VAT and compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of F&B industry financials, including cost control, inventory management, and profitability analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA.
• Experience with multi-location or multi-unit accounting within the F&B sector.
