As we scale, we are seeking a Senior Accountant who can bring precision, strategic financial acumen, and industry expertise to help us manage and grow our financial infrastructure.

Role Summary:

We’re looking for a highly organized and experienced Senior Accountant with a background in SaaS-based companies who can work closely with the CEO and leadership team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in managing full-cycle accounting, VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, and generating actionable financial reports to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage end-to-end accounting operations, including bookkeeping, GL entries, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and file VAT and Corporate Tax returns as per UAE tax regulations.
• Generate timely financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and management reports.
• Monitor revenue recognition, recurring billing, deferred income, and subscription-based financials.
• Collaborate with the CEO to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, and banking transactions.
• Oversee financial compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.
• Support external audits and liaise with tax advisors and government authorities as needed.
• Assist in financial modeling and KPI tracking (MRR, ARR, CAC, churn) relevant to SaaS metrics.
• Drive improvements in financial processes and internal reporting systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in SaaS or tech companies.
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT & Corporate Tax laws and filing procedures.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Odoo) and Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and directly with leadership, offering clear financial insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent.
• Experience with subscription-based billing, revenue recognition (ASC 606/IFRS 15), and SaaS KPIs.
• Prior experience in high-growth startups or dynamic tech environments.
