Job description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounting software (especially Tally and Zoho Books), and a solid understanding of VAT filing, MIS reporting, and handling both local and international financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records using Tally and Zoho Books
  • Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with local regulations
  • Generate MIS reports for management review
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable efficiently
  • Reconcile and record intercompany transactions
  • Handle foreign currency transactions and related accounting entries
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
  • Coordinate with auditors and external consultants when required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2+ years of accounting experience (UAE experience)
  • Proficiency in Tally and Zoho Books
  • Strong knowledge of VAT laws and filing procedures
  • Familiarity with MIS reporting, intercompany accounting, and multi-currency transactions
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
