Assistant Accountant

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant cum Cashier to support our finance and operations team with daily accounting and cash-handling tasks. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent numerical accuracy, and the ability to manage cash transactions efficiently in a fast-paced working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily cash collection, deposits, and cash reconciliation
• Maintain accurate cash records and ensure proper documentation
• Assist in daily bookkeeping and data entry
• Prepare and maintain financial documents, records, and reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors
• Maintain organized filing and documentation systems for accounting records

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of UAE experience in accounting or cashier-related roles
• Familiarity with accounting software
• Proficient in MS Excel and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and time management skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Trustworthy and responsible in handling cash

Preferred:

• Experience in FMCG industry
• Ability to prepare basic MIS reports and financial summaries
• Basic understanding of payroll and WPS system
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
