Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong knowledge in financial accounting, budgeting, and costing. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, monitoring budgets, and analyzing costs to support effective financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Perform cost analysis and cost control to improve operational efficiency.
• Analyze product, project, or operational costs and recommend cost-saving strategies.
• Monitor budget performance and report variances with explanations.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with VAT filings, tax reporting, and financial audits.
• Provide financial reports and insights to management for strategic decisions.
• Support and supervise junior accounting staff if required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, including budgeting and costing.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost accounting, and budgeting processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
