Senior Accountant

Full job description

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team to perform monthly bookkeeping and accounting for a portfolio of our clients, as well as quarterly VAT filings, CT filings and other ad hoc tasks (VAT registration, Corporate tax registration, research on certain tax areas) under a supervision for a more experienced, Senior Accountant.

This is a hybrid position with no requirement to be in the office every day.

To be considered for a position you must have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting
• Experience in accounting software such as Quickbooks, Xero, Zoho
• Some knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT and CT regulations
• CPA or similar qualification or working towards it
• Proficiency in Excel
• Good communication skills in English
• Be located in Dubai

And it is great if you have the following in addition:

• Experience of working in a consultancy
• Experience of working in a big 4 is a big plus!

Experience:

• Accounting: 2 years UAE similar experience (Required)

License/Certification:

• ACCA/ACA/CPA/working towards (Required)
