A well-established UK Chartered accountants firm is looking to set up a Pakistan-based company to assist with providing audit, accounts and tax is seeking an experienced and qualified Senior ACCA Accountant to lead its accounting and compliance function. The company will be providing audit, accounts and tax services to UK-based SMEs, owner-managed businesses and growing companies.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant you will:
Prepare financial statements under UK GAAP/FRS 102
Prepare UK corporation tax and personal tax computations for UK clients
Prepare and review management accounts and VAT returns
Supervise and train junior staff, reviewing their work for quality and accuracy
Assist in audit assignments and ensure compliance with Uk regulations
Ensure strict compliance with UK accounting and regulatory standards
Be able to work independently
Requirements
Fully qualified member of Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA)
Minimum of 5 years experience in audit, tax and accounting
Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax and audit procedures
Experience managing or mentoring junior staff
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong leadership and organisational abilities
Proficient use of excel and experience with accounting software such as Sage
