Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Closing: Perform month-end/year-end closures, prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet), and assist with budget forecasting.
• Compliance & Tax: Manage VAT/Corporate Tax filing, ensure compliance with UAE labor and financial laws, and manage relationships with external auditors.
• Transactional Oversight: Oversee Accounts Payable/Receivable, bank reconciliations, and vendor payments.
• Asset Management: Maintain fixed assets register and conduct inventory reconciliations.
• Supervision: Mentor junior accountants and ensure internal accounting policies are followed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or CPA/ACCA/CA is highly preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience, with many roles preferring previous UAE experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Tally Prime, SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and UAE Corporate Tax and VAT laws.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
