Senior Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Position Summary:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall accounting and financial operations of the U.S. entity, including monthly close, multi-state tax compliance, cash flow management, and financial reporting to headquarters. This role works cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance, and requires regular communication with headquarters in Korea.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly financial close and reporting to headquarters
  • Support financial analysis, including variance analysis and forecasting
  • Oversee multi-state tax compliance (CA, AZ, OR, TX) and coordinate with external CPAs
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, including monthly cash requests to HQ
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including issue resolution
  • Review and process vendor payments, employee expense reports, and credit card reconciliations
  • Oversee bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations
  • Support customs and import-related processes, including duty review and issue coordination
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Operations) and external stakeholders
  • Maintain accounting records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Support audit processes and provide required documentation
  • Support HR-related administrative processes, including benefits coordination as needed
  • Oversee general office operations, including procurement of office supplies and vendor coordination
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee data and other employment information
  • Assist with general administrative and operational support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-state tax compliance
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Working proficiency in both English and Korean is required

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
