Senior Accountant

Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable financial regulations
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
• Monitor cash flow and financial transactions
• Provide financial insights and reports to management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
• Advanced Excel skills
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
