Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with internal policies and UAE regulations. The role involves handling general ledger activities, reconciliations, payables, receivables, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries and ledger maintenance
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities
• Review and verify invoices, payments, and expense claims
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and company policies
• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff when required
• Prepare management reports and financial analysis as needed

Requirements:

• ACMA, ACCA
• 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience (preferably in UAE)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with ERP systems
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
