Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and support strategic financial planning. The role extends beyond traditional accounting functions to include key responsibilities typically aligned with CFO-level oversight, such as financial forecasting, cash flow management, and management reporting.

Key ResponsibilitiesCore Accounting & Compliance

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Coordinate with auditors and manage audit processes

Management Reporting (CFO-Level)

• Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management
• Develop KPIs and dashboards to track business performance
• Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and reporting

Forecasting & Budgeting (CFO-Level)

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide variance analysis
• Work closely with department heads to align financial plans with business objectives
• Continuously improve forecasting models and financial planning processes

Cash Flow Management (CFO-Level)

• Monitor and manage company cash flow, liquidity, and working capital
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and ensure adequate funding for operations
• Optimize cash utilization and manage banking relationships
• Oversee collections and payment cycles to maintain healthy cash flow

Financial Controls & Process Improvement

• Establish and maintain strong internal controls
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
• Support implementation of financial systems and tools

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred)
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a senior role
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Experience in cash flow management and financial planning
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
