Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 5+ years of experience to oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and support strategic financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting expertise and the ability to manage end-to-end accounting functions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, VAT requirements, and internal financial policies.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes.
• Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow management.
• Supervise and support junior accounting staff where applicable.
• Improve financial processes and implement best accounting practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience , preferably within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
