Senior Accountant

Job responsibilities

Conduct Month-end & year-end closing

Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, income statements, cash flow statement) in compliance with IFRS.

Maintained receivables/ payables record with diligent follow up on overdue payments

Collaborate with cross functional team to support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning initiatives.

Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.

Monitor cashflow and highlight financial risks.

General ledger maintenance & bank reconciliations.

Lead audit preparation & liaise with external auditors.

Review junior accountants' work.

Requirements

· ACCA qualification

·Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience

· Strong knowledge of IFRS and familiarity with Qatar’s tax & VAT regulations.

· Proficiency in ERP systems (Tally,Odoo) and Advanced Excel.

· Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong communication skills
