We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with FMCG industry experience to join our growing finance team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Handle monthly closing, year-end closing, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Monitor inventory accounting and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and UAE regulations.
- Assist in tax-related documentation and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors when required.
- Analyze financial data and provide management with useful financial insights.
- Support financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
- Maintain and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Prepare management reports and maintain proper documentation of records.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in inventory management and ERP systems will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with international accounting standards is preferred.
- Valid UAE Driving Licence is mandatory.
