Senior Accountant (On-Site)

Location: Kohat, Pakistan

We are seeking a highly capable and commercially minded Senior Accountant to join our team in Kohat. This is an on-site position for a finance professional who can independently manage accounting, financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, compliance, and business analysis while supporting management with financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

* Lead the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, and cash flow planning.

* Analyze business performance, profitability, and operational costs, providing recommendations to improve financial results.

* Develop costing models and evaluate the profitability of existing and new services.

* Support management in determining appropriate pricing strategies for new and existing services.

* Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement financial controls to improve operational efficiency.

* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and all statutory and regulatory requirements.

* Manage corporate tax, sales tax, withholding tax, and other applicable tax filings.

* Coordinate and support internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit observations.

* Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and reporting procedures.

* Monitor working capital, cash flow, receivables, and payables to maintain the financial health of the organization.

* Prepare financial analyses, business cases, and management reports to support strategic decisions and business growth.

* Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities as required.

Qualifications & Experience

* ACCA, CMA, CA (Inter/Finalist), ICMA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.

* 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, taxation, and financial reporting.

* Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, taxation, and audit processes.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.

* Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
