Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant – Lahore (On-Site)

We are looking for an experienced senior accountant to join our growing accounting and tax practice in our Lahore, Bahria Town, back office. Timings: 6pm - 3am. Our head office is located in Toronto, Canada.

Key Requirements:

• Excellent spoken and written English with strong client communication skills.
• Comfortable leading client onboarding meetings and maintaining professional client relationships.
• Experience handling accounting and bookkeeping for multiple industries, including e-commerce, trucking, retail, real estate, healthcare, and service-based businesses.
• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, and other accounting software.
• Experience preparing and reviewing bookkeeping, financial statements, payroll, and accounting records.
• Hands-on experience preparing and filing Canadian and/or US personal and corporate tax returns using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with tax preparation, e-filing processes, and related compliance requirements.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new accounting and tax software as required.
• Ability to review work completed by junior accountants, provide guidance, and resolve accounting and tax-related issues.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in an accounting firm, CPA firm, or outsourcing company serving Canadian and US clients.
• Exposure to payroll, sales tax, GST/HST, state sales tax, and other compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Accounting degree or equivalent accounting experience.
• 3+ years of relevant experience (more is preferred).

Compensation:
PKR 150,000+ per month, depending on experience and qualifications.

Office Timings: 6pm-3am
