Job Summary

Nishka Jewellery is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the financial operations of our jewellery showroom. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in the UAE jewellery industry and a strong understanding of jewellery inventory accounting, gold transactions, VAT compliance, and financial reporting.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience in the UAE jewellery industry.
• Prior experience working with a jewellery showroom, retail jewellery chain, or gold and diamond trading company in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations of the jewellery showroom.
• Maintain accurate records of gold, diamond, and jewellery inventory transactions.
• Reconcile stock movements, purchases, sales, and manufacturing accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Ensure accurate recording of gold rates, wastage, making charges, and inventory valuations.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors and support annual audits.
• Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Generate financial reports and provide insights to management for business decisions.
• Ensure timely closure of accounts and financial reporting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with jewellery ERP/accounting systems.
• Knowledge of bullion accounting, gold hedging, and precious metals inventory management is preferred.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
