Senior Accountant

We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a strong background in trading companies, import/export operations, hospitality, or bottled water/FMCG industries. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, inventory management, and UAE compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete accounting operations and financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Prepare and submit VAT filings in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
• Handle inventory accounting, costing, supplier reconciliations, and stock monitoring.
• Manage accounting related to import/export documentation, LC, shipping expenses, and customs transactions.
• Handle payroll accounting, gratuity provisions, leave provisions, and final settlements.
• Support management with financial analysis and cost-control measures.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience as an Accountant/Senior Accountant.
• Mandatory experience in one or more of the following industries:
• Trading company
• Import/Export company
• Bottled water manufacturing / FMCG industry
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance.
• Experience handling import/export accounting and inventory management.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Tally, Odoo, Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per hour
